Adeyemi completed a T level in Engineering & Manufacturing with a focus on Electrical & Electronic Engineering, earning a distinction. He is currently studying a degree in Mechatronics Engineering at De Montfort University.
Changing plans for the right reason
Adeyemi shares “I planned to go to college to study an engineering course that would enable me to proceed to university. I initially planned on studying a BTEC course, then I was informed that I could take T levels which is equivalent to three A levels and I could use it to proceed to university.”
Getting real world experience
He continues “I enjoyed the hands-on experience from the course activities and the work placement. I really wanted to learn by doing rather than just being focused on theory. I also appreciated the support from the tutors.
“I would recommend T levels to others for the fact that it is very informative and helps gather experience on not just the course, but also on industrial practices. The theory learning can be challenging but the teachers and practical learning helps you get used to it.”
