First Adult Open Evening at Leicester College

Leicester College is hosting its first Adult Open Evening from 4-6.30pm on Tuesday 25 February 2020. The free event will be held at the College’s Abbey Park Campus on Painter Street, Leicester LE1 3WA and is aimed at promoting courses for adults (19+) looking for a career change or wanting to get back into education to improve their work prospects.

The event will showcase Leicester College’s full range of opportunities across part-time hobby courses, entry, level 1 and 2 courses, access courses, professional training, higher education and apprenticeships, with a focus on people aged 19+. There will be representatives available on the evening from the College’s Welfare, Finance and Careers teams to speak to directly about returning to education, options and finances.

Adults who earn up to £16,009 are able to benefit from free adult courses* up to and including level 2 courses. Leicester College also offers Advanced learner loans to anyone 19+ to assist with course fees for levels 3, 4, 5 or 6*. Partial or full loans are available and will only need to be paid back after completing the course and when earning over £21,000 per annum.
