Hats off to you class of 2022
What better way to celebrate your success than to share the moment with friends and family at your graduation ceremony.
Graduation will take place on Saturday 17 September 2022 at Sue Townsend Theatre.
Our invitation is extended to students who’ve completed foundation degrees, higher national diplomas and certificates, and BA Honours degrees.

What to do when you arrive
Please visit the check-in desk. You will not need your Eventbrite tickets. We will give you your tickets and your guest tickets. It’s best if you all arrive together. Please note: we cannot accept any new graduand bookings on the day. All graduands must have booked their place beforehand. Additional guest tickets may be able to purchase on the day, if this is the case we will communicate this to all graduands and will work on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests will have to pay for their ticket by debit or credit card. Cash payment will not be accepted. We will notify you if we have completely sold out via email the day before.

Tickets for Graduands and Guests
It is essential that you register for this event if you would like to attend. Please use this booking form to register your attendance and the attendance of your guests, by 2 September 2022.
We are unable to accept any registrations after this deadline or accommodate any unregistered graduands who turn up on the day.
Initially, graduands are allowed to book a maximum of two guest tickets.
From 3 September 2022, we will sell any remaining guest tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis online.
There will be a small charge for your guests’ attendance, which needs to be paid for on registration. Due to fire regulations for the venue all children are counted for the capacity for the venue. All children aged 2 and older require a ticket.
Please contact our events team directly if you have exceptional circumstances you would like us to consider.
Pets can also not be accommodated at this venue.
Ticket refunds cannot be accommodated after 10 September 2022.
The nearest car park to the venue is Newarke Street Car Park, there is a charge to park in this car park which can be found here. Payment is accepted by cash, card, and contactless payment is in this car park.
Parking is free for those who are blue badge holders at this car park.
Leicester College will not take responsibility for theft or damage to vehicles or contents.
Booking for gowning will open in summer 2022 via the William Northam website.
We work with a gown-robing company to enable you to graduate in a cap and gown. You must book this directly with the gowning company. If you are not wearing a cap and gown, please dress smartly.
If you have booked gowning you will check in and then proceed to the gowning room to be dressed for the ceremony. All graduands must be gowned by 11:45 am.
Photographs and social media
Photographs will be taken during the event that may be used on social media and for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer. Please use the hashtag #LCGrad2022 on your own social media; we want to celebrate you and would love to see all your fantastic pictures and posts.
There will be plenty of staff on duty to explain what’s happening. The event timings will also be printed on the back of your tickets. The main thing is to listen out for your call to join the graduand procession … and to enjoy yourself!
