Our annual HE Graduation ceremony takes place on Saturday 14 September 2019, at The Empire and Abbey Park Campus.
The ceremony if for all students who will have successfully completed a HNC, HND, Foundation Degree, BA(hons), University Diploma in Education and Training, or Professional Graduate Certificate in Education and Training (PGCE) in 2018/19 at Leicester College.
All graduands* should book their place by Saturday 24 August 2019. Guest tickets must be booked by 31 August 2019 at a cost of £15 each plus a booking fee of £1.58**. There is no charge for children under 10, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
Once again we will be recognising three students’ outstanding efforts with our HE Graduation Awards for the following:
- Vice Principal’s Award for Scholarship
- Chair of Governors’ Award for Student Engagement
- Principal’s Award for Outstanding Achievement
If you think that you should be considered for any of these awards, talk to your lecturer about the possibility of being nominated.

Extra guests may be admitted on the day, but if they haven’t booked, admission will work on a first-come, first-served basis and they will have to pay for their ticket by debit or credit card. Photographs and social media
Photographs will be taken during the event that may be used in social media and for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please tell the photographer. Please use the hashtag #LCHEGrad2018 in your own social media; we want to create a buzz around the day and your participation is very welcome.
There will be plenty of staff on duty to explain what’s happening. The event timings will also be printed on the back of your tickets. The main thing is to listen out for your call to join the graduand procession … and to enjoy yourself!
