Leicester College Experience Day is the chance for new and prospective full-time students (you must have an active application with the College to attend), to get a taste of what campus life is really like. (Please note that this particular event is not open to students who have applied for an Access, Supported Learning or Launchpad courses.)
The Experience Day – on Tuesday 28 June 2022 – will allow you to spend a day with the tutors who teach on your chosen course, take part in practical activities, and give you the opportunity to get to know other students who want to study the same subject as you.
- 8.45am: registration opens
- 9.30am: registration closes (if you are late you may not be able to take part in the day)
- 11.30am-1.30pm: lunch period, with a 30 minute break during this time
- 3pm: day ends
Booking for Experience Day will close on Sunday 19 June 2022.
Due to the number of people who attend this event, if you arrive on the day without a pre-booking you may not be able to take part in the event. Also, if you arrive late you may not be able to participate in the day.
As well as finding out more about your chosen subject, specialist staff will be on hand to provide advice and information about English and maths, careers and employability, and welfare.
You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch or you will be able to purchase food in one of our refectories on the day.
The Experience Day is for prospective students only – parents, friends, etc will not be able to accompany you. Please let us know if you will require support on the day.
Practical sessions will be run throughout the entirety of Experience Day so please ensure that you are dressed appropriately – safety clothing and equipment will be provided if necessary.
You must go to the campus where the subject you have applied for is being taught. Check the course list below to find which campus this is if you are unsure.
