In March 2016 High Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) announced the launch of the National Collaborative Outreach Project (NCOP), a programme of highly targeted outreach interventions designed to support the Government’s ambitions to increase progression rates of students from the most disadvantaged backgrounds into Higher Education. Leicester College, along with DMU, University of Leicester, Loughborough University and Loughborough College, are partners in the Leicestershire PATHWAYS NCOP. The Information and Advice on Routes into Higher Education event at Leicester College is part of a series of events and activities responding to this initiative.
