Start your degree this September

A great value degree

It’s an underappreciated fact that further education colleges like Leicester College offer degrees. This gives you a chance to study in your own city and fit your degree around your existing commitments – saving you money on accommodation and other costs.

Something else not everyone knows is that getting your degree with us could be significantly cheaper than studying at a traditional university. In 2018/19, it cost £6,165 per year for tuition here – as opposed to £9,250+ at a university. Yet it’s the same qualification you’re earning.

Finally, you might be glad to hear that when you graduate you won’t pay back a penny until you earn £25,000. If you earn less you don’t pay back anything.

Since we won TEF Gold accreditation, you can be assured that our teaching’s top-notch too.

What can I study for my degree with you?

With Leicester College, you can get your degree in:

  • business, enterprise and computing
  • creative industries (graphics, photography, fashion)
  • engineering and construction
  • childcare and health and social care
  • performing arts and music technology
  • sport and uniformed public services
  • teacher education
  • tourism and events management.

It’s not too late to apply

If this sounds good to you, it’s not too late to apply to start your degree with us in September 2018. We still have places left on many of our courses. You will need to register for a free account with UCAS if you haven’t done this already.

Getting your degree will improve your career options and means that you could enter the graduate professions – for example as a teacher, nurse, midwife or social worker.

If you’re interested in going to university but don’t yet have the qualifications you need, you could consider an Access or pre-Access course with us.
