Harry Paolella is studying a T level in Digital Support Services hardware and security at Leicester College. Harry wanted to get into IT but was unaware about T levels, so wanted to understand it more.
“I had seen a website advert and looked into T levels. I chose the T level at Leicester College because it offers a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience,” says Harry.
T level courses are ‘well balanced’
Harry continues: “The course has more than met my requirements. With the work placements in the NHS, I was able to learn things like networking, telecoms and deployment, which helped me build a lot of confidence and core skills such as problem solving, troubleshooting and communication.”
“I would recommend T levels for anyone who is looking for a course where there is a balance between the theory and practical side. It’s well set out.”
Next steps
“After I complete my course, I will be continuing my studies at university to help me set foot in the cyber security industry,” concludes Harry.
