Seed Talks present AuDHD & Women: Exploring gender bias in neurodivergence

Discover how ADHD & Autism present differently in women and tips on how to manage your neurodivergence. Followed by Q&A.

Until 2013, it wasn’t possible to be formally diagnosed with both autism and ADHD, yet research now shows these conditions co-occur in up to 80% of cases. Despite this, neurodivergence has long been understood through a male lens, leaving countless women misdiagnosed, misunderstood and unsupported. In this eye-opening talk, Dr Lauren Breese unpacks the science of AuDHD in women - revealing how gender bias, societal expectations and the art of masking have shaped (and distorted) our understanding of what autism and ADHD “should” look like.

Whether you’re exploring your own neurodivergence, supporting someone you love, or simply curious about the science behind AuDHD, this talk offers insight, connection and a new way of seeing what it truly means to be an AuDHD woman today.
