My employees are all qualified to do their jobs, so why do they need training?
Experienced staff may benefit from a refresher course, and then there are always new technologies and ideas which may help them refine their skills even further.
Training is a great way for staff to keep up-to-date with the latest developments affecting your industry, and they may even discover new ways to improve your profitability, productivity and customer satisfaction.
There may also be statutory requirements, such as First Aid and Health and Safety training, to ensure you are complying with your legal obligations.
What are the benefits to me as an employer?
Training can help you to address specific issues which are affecting your business’ performance and productivity, and also offer the chance for your employees to enhance their skills and knowledge. This improves their motivation and reduces your staff turnover.
In addition we can provide accredited training programmes, which will help you to meet your legislative requirements in areas such as Health and Safety.
How much will I have to pay?
The cost will depend on the training required – for example, if an accredited qualification is required, where the training will take place and how long it will last.
We will help you source the most cost-effective training solution for your requirements, and will advise you on accessing funding where possible (subject to eligibility).
What experience do you have of delivering training?
We have been delivering training for a diverse range of organisations from all industries for a number of years now. Examples of the training we have delivered, and its impact on specific companies, is highlighted throughout our successful training stories.
Do my employees have to attend College?
We aim to offer completely flexible training solutions tailored to you. We can come to your location and deliver training there – which minimises the disruption to your operations, although we do offer training on campus where practical. The training can be anything from half a day a week to two or three days depending on your requirements.
We already have an in-house training programme, so why do we need someone else to do it?
Our trainers and assessors are highly qualified and experienced, with expertise in a wide variety of industries. We can keep your staff up-to-date with the latest developments affecting your industry. We can even work in partnership with your in-house trainers to offer a fresh perspective on your training provision.
The qualifications we offer are fully accredited, and we are recognised as an approved training centre by many professional bodies. Working closely with the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), we can provide access to funding which is available to support you with the cost, including Apprenticeship Grants.
I am an employer and I’m interested in taking on an Apprenticeship Training Agency apprentice. What do I do?
