Functional skills in maths at level 1 and level 2 are designed to develop the your ability to represent situations using mathematics, analyse calculations, solve problems and interpret mathematics to explain situations.

Enhance your theoretical understanding of counselling and continue to help you develop the skills and attitudes required to practice these approaches. You will also encourage profound personal growth and understanding enhance your ability to understand others and develops your ability to extend empathy.

Learn the basics of IT in a safe and supportive setting. You will take part in fun activities and boost your confidence with using computers and mobile phones. This five-day course runs most weeks of the year and is helpful if you are wanting to show employers you have basic IT skills.

Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous experience in sugar crafts, this hobby course will teach you the basics of how to work with sugar and icing to create cake toppers and sugar craft masterpieces. On completion, you may enrol in another one of our part-time courses or continue your progression into full-time study.

Sweeten up your skills with our short course in cake decorating and sugarcraft Over nine weeks in the evening we will help you work with different techniques and ingredients to create baking masterpieces. Take on this course to impress your friends, and family or even turn a hobby into a new career in baking or catering.

This course will build your understanding of global environmental initiatives as well as effective use of natural resources, providing opportunities within a range of careers including waste management or construction.

Customer service is an important part of many job roles. This classroom-based, one day nationally recognised qualification will help you improve your customer service skills as well as learning how to meet a customer’s needs. The course is offered all year round and you will need to complete a full day of learning.

How do you ensure you meet a customer’s needs? Useful in a wide variety of work settings, you will improve your knowledge of customer service, learn the correct customer service processes and understand how to manage customers successfully. This five-day, classroom based nationally recognised qualification can be accessed all year round.
