Leicester College Autumn 2019 Open Day with Apprenticeship Fair

City campuses will be open to prospective students on 8 October 2019

Leicester College is to open its campuses across the city to students making decisions about their education after GCSEs, A Levels or BTECs, or for those returning to learning. The further education college will be open to new students from 4-8pm on Tuesday 8 October 2019.

The open day is a chance for students, their family and friends, to find out more about the college and its range of post-16 courses, to look around the three campuses and to see the facilities, as well as talk to tutors and current students.

The event will provide information and advice on:

  • post-16 courses
  • access courses
  • higher education courses
  • apprenticeships
  • financial and learning support
  • careers
  • how to apply

The college is also hosting an Apprenticeship Fair as part of the Open Day. This will be held at the Freemen’s Park Campus and is a chance for students to talk to apprentice employers, the careers team and the apprenticeship team.

The college has strong links with local employers and the following are among those who will be at the Apprenticeship Fair:

All three campuses will be open and visitors can enter a competition to win prizes including a smartwatch and a Bluetooth speaker.
