MAKE YOUR NEXT MOVE AND UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL

 

Leicester College offers a wide range of vocational, BTEC and T level courses… all of which aim to help you achieve your future goals.

Join us on 29 October 2024 between 5 pm – 7:30 pm (last entry 7pm) at our three campuses to find out more about our offer. We’ll also be handing out our limited-edition LC yoyos*, so bring your tricks with you.

Our Post-16 Open Event is for those under 19 looking to enrol on a full-time course, learn more about apprenticeships and gather information on our student support services.

Tutors and current students will also be here on the day to show you our facilities, answer your questions and provide advice and guidance to set you on the right path for your next steps.

The support teams will be at most campuses to discuss careers advice, funding and bursaries and transition support from school to college.

  • Talks and Presentations (only at Abbey Park and Freemen’s Park campuses) – direct from our senior leadership team we will present you with what Leicester College has to offer, timeline of application to enrolment and support available at the college.
  • Meet the Experts – have the opportunity to speak to someone working in the industry you’re interested in. Ask questions such as pay, experience, qualifications etc. Everything you need to know to prepare yourself for work.
  • Taster sessions** – make pizzas, change a tyre or practice the air safety presentation – we’ll have tasters in many of our subject areas for you to have a go.

Our car parks will be open for visitors, but spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
