Congratulations, you have been nominated for an award at Leicester College’s annual Adult Student Awards!
The Adult Student Awards gives us the perfect opportunity to say ‘well done’ to those students who have stood out for their effort or achievements. Please join us for a complementary afternoon tea and short prizegiving ceremony. Please let us know whether you can attend by registering for the event. You are welcome to bring a guest, but if you do, please complete a registration for them also.
Frequently asked questions by students
Q. Why have I been nominated for an award?
A. Your tutor, or another member of staff has noticed your efforts and/or achievement and feels that you should be rewarded.
Q. What happens at the awards?
A. There are some short speeches and some certificates are given out. After that, we serve afternoon tea which is sandwiches, cake and drinks. You may bring a guest (a parent, carer or friend perhaps) with you if you would like to. It’s all free.
Q. If I have been nominated does that mean I have won something?
A. Not necessarily, but your nomination is an achievement in itself and we would like you to celebrate, pick up a certificate and enjoy yourself.
Q. I want to bring a guest, how do I let you know?
A. If you are bringing a guest, please complete a registration for them too. There is a question on the form which tells us who is the student, and who is the guest. You can book your guest a place later if you wish. But you need to book before 22 May 2019.
We may take photos at this event, which may be published in print or online. If you don’t wish to be photographed please let a member of staff know.
THIS IS AN INVITATION ONLY EVENT AND IS NOT OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC
